Thunderhawk AH-73M is an action game, largely presented from the perspective of a combat flight simulator. The game premiered in 1991, and Virgin Games, Inc. is responsible for its release.
The player takes on the role of a pilot controlling the Thunderhawk AH-73M combat helicopter. As a member of the elite MERLIN aviation group, your task will be to prevent various emergencies almost all over the world. The game is about campaigning in ten regions of the world, in which you have to achieve main and side objectives. Each campaign usually consists of about five missions, the themes of which relate to real events in the part of the world in which they take place. For example, you will have the opportunity to participate in escorting a UN humanitarian convoy during the Bosnian War. Usually, the player is equipped with a standard set of weapons: missiles, rockets and a machine gun, but in the case of a more difficult mission, the appropriate type of weapons is loaded automatically.
