Putty Squad is a platform game released in 1994 by Ocean Software for the SNES platform. The Amiga version was canceled just before its release. In 2013, System 3 released a remastered version of the game for various platforms, such as PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, Macintosh and Amiga.
In Putty Squad, the player once again takes on the role of the blue blob of Putty who must save his friends and save the world from evil forces. The game offers 50 levels, with different opponents and challenges, as well as three hidden levels.
Putty has several unique abilities, such as the ability to stretch his body, change into different shapes, and use special abilities such as shooting balls and creating bridges. The game also offers the opportunity to collect various items such as coins, stars and keys that are necessary to progress through certain levels.
The graphics in Putty Squad are colorful and rich in detail, and the soundtrack consists of joyful, melodic tracks. The game also retained the humorous style of the original as well as introducing new gameplay elements such as new skills and characters.
