Open Season is a humorous production for the whole family, based on the animated film of the same title.


The game presents the fate of the domesticated grizzly bear Boog. The toddler predator lives in the town of Timberline, where he is a local attraction during the day, and in the evening he lazes in the garage of the forest ranger Beth. However, as a result of a combination of unusual events, he and the one-legged deer Elliot end up in the forest, where the hunting season is about to start. Boog decides to return to Timberline at all costs. Forest animals will help him in this, as long as he has dealt with the hunters beforehand.


Open Season is an adventure title in which the player takes turns taking control of Boog and Elliot. They both benefit from the help of local flora, thanks to which they quickly deal with intrusive hunters. They are helped in this by, among others acorn-throwing squirrels or skunks, known for their repulsive smell. The Open Season also features a number of additional attractions, such as a daring river rafting or a ride in mine carriages.


The production offers a number of mini-games available in multiplayer mode.
