MechCommander 2 is a strategy game (RTS) released in 2001 by Microsoft. The game was released for PC (Windows).

The plot of the game is set on the planet Carver V, where two factions House Steiner and House Davion lead a continuous civil war. One of the factions - House Steiner - decides to hire you to help them fight and bring peace to the planet.

As a ticket, you have to take care of your crew and equipment (military mechs). Before each mission you will be able to choose a team and what mechs you will use in the battle. In the game you will be able to buy and sell combat robots (mechs vary in speed, firepower, etc.). After each completed mission, you get experience points. After getting the right level, you'll be able to get special knowledge, e.g. a new weapon.
