Devastation is an action game released in 2003 by HD Interactive B.V, available for Linux and Windows. The action takes place in a dystopian, post-apocalyptic world ruled by corrupt corporations controlling technology, media and society as a whole. The civilization is in a state of contaminated and decayed ruin, hence the player, playing the role of a member of the resistance movement, fights for what is left.


The game focuses largely on team competitions in single-player and multiplayer modes. There are over a dozen maps to complete, depending on the selected game mode (multiplayer: 12, single-player: 20). The player has 28 types of weapons at his disposal, incl. machine guns, assault rifles, sniper rifles, pistols.
