Barnyard is a video game released in 2006, based on the animated film of the same name. The film, as well as the game, was produced by Nickelodeon and published by THQ.
The game takes place on a farm where the main character, a cow named Otis, joins a group of other animals. Controlling Otis, the player must complete quests and earn respect in order to earn keys that will allow you to progress through the stages of the farm map.

The map is quite large and apart from missions and tasks assigned by other animals, there are many other things to do. You can explore the terrain, break barrels or participate in mini-games such as shed bashing, bowling and bike races. During the game, you need to take care of your stamina, which decreases as you run around the farm. A good night's sleep is important - you need to be well rested to combat the lurking raccoons and coyotes. Also remember not to get caught by the farmer when you are standing on two legs!
