"Tortuga Bay" is an action game in which you play the role of a retired pirate captain. The rules of the game are based on similar principles to the cult game Sid Meier's Pirates!. There are no RPG, adventure or strategy elements here. Instead, the player has two types of missions at his disposal: commanding a ship and eliminating enemies with cannons, and combat sequences on land, on an island or on a ship.

During naval missions, using the compass, we must find all enemy units and destroy them with cannons. Bonuses such as additional cannons, repairs and extra time can be obtained from sunken enemy ships. However, the land combat sequences are a real test of skill, where the captain must defeat enemies while collecting valuable loot and bonuses such as potions of life, treasures and new weapons.
