The Wheel of Time is a game based on the work of Robert Jordan of the same title. The player takes on the role of a young witch who has to face evil forces that want to destroy the Circle of Light.


The main character of the game is the witch Elayne, who is entangled in a complicated plot related to the theft of an unusual artifact and plans to free Black - a peculiar opposite of the Creator. As the action unfolds, Elayna discovers a great potential within herself that allows her to become the most powerful being in the world and face the Dark Minions.


The plot of the single-player campaign in The Wheel of Time, although fully linear, is confusing and full of references to a literary progenitor. Players who have read Jordan's novels before have the opportunity to confront their ideas about specific places and characters with the visions of the game's creators.


The production combines the features of many genres, but the term FPS with elements of adventure and RPG best fits it. The main character does not use any physical weapons, but has a lot of spells. The advantage of the game is an extensive magic system based on artifacts called ter'angreal. The spells cast by Elayne are related to the elements. The players decide for themselves which artifacts - and thus spells - the heroine will use. Fighting a variety of opponents requires a proper strategy, including wise management of the energy needed to cast spells.
