Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge, is the first part of the famous series of Lotus racing games. The game was released in 1990 by Gremlin Graphics. Lotus was created for Amiga, Atari ST, C64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and SEGA.
The game, as we mentioned earlier, is the first in a series of racing games in which we race with cars from the Lotus stable. In the first part we have only one car - the Lotus Esprit Turbo. In this part of the prosecution we have exhausted the fuel - so you have to get to the service station from time to time to fill the missing fuel. In the game we always race with 20 opponents. The game screen is always divided into two parts - even if you play one at a time, the bottom of the screen you see the mechanics bury in the other player's car. At first it may interfere, however, with the passage of time (gameplay) increasingly less disturbing.
To sum up, as a prototype for the next part - it certainly gives you advice;) However, you could show the game on the whole screen in a single game. The cool thing about this part is that you have to refuel your car from time to time, which is not in the next parts. And for that reason it is worth to reach for this part. Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge is a game worth getting back from time to time.
