Loom is an adventure (point and click) game released in 1990 by Lucasfilm Games LLC. The game was released for Amiga, Atari ST, Macintosh and PC (DOS).
Bobbin Threadbare is a resident of the Weaver Guild. Unfortunately, he was banished from the guild and blamed for lack of well-being in recent times. On the seventeenth birthday he is summoned by the Guild's Elders who were to decide his fate. Shortly thereafter, all the villagers, apart from Bobbin, turn into swans. Bobbin embarks on a journey to find a lost herd and answers to his questions.
Loom is a game that distinguishes itself with an unusual interface. There are no options typical for adventure games - use, see, etc. Instead, the main character - Bobbin, must play certain patterns that will cause a spell. Spells are just activities like open, but also night vision. We acquire spell patterns in the game from other characters or by observing items.
