Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succession Wars (other titles: HOMM2, Heroes 2) is a strategy game released in 1996 by 3DO Company. The game was released for Acord, PC (DOS / Windows) and Macintosh.

The Heroes of Might and Magic II action takes place in a fantasy land - Enrothi. There are many types of creatures in the game, gryphons, golems, unicorns, hydras and dragons. In Heroes II, you'll find six types of castles, each corresponding to the hero's class: Knight, Sorceress, Wizard (Good Side), Barbarian, Necromancer and Warlock (Side of Evil). As in the predecessor - the game action is divided into the world exploration mode and combat mode.

The combat system has been slightly improved compared to the previous part - now the spell system is based on magic points. Besides, in the game you will be able to play on small maps (perfect for two players) or much larger - if you play six people.
