Duckman: The Graphic Adventures of a Private Dick is an adventure game released in 1997 by Playmates Interactive Entertainment. The game was released for PC (Windows).
Duckman is an egocentric, anthropomorphic detective duck, and the star of his own series. The hero is forced to swallow a bitter pill when the producers decide to replace him with a handsome, muscular actor. Duckman - rejected by his family and friends - decides to commit suicide. However, his only friend comes to his aid, Cornfed, who persuades the duck to fight for the role. The protagonist decides to do whatever it takes to return to the set, and then regain his rightful place.
Duckman: The Graphic Adventures of a Private Dick is based on an animated sitcom by Everett Peck. The production is a typical representative of an adventure point & click game. The gameplay consists in collecting and combining items, conducting conversations and exploring (as many as 30 locations that can be visited). The developers used an interesting system in the game that allows you to interact with objects or characters in two ways: calm or agitated. Depending on the method chosen, the player may achieve different results.
