In the main storyline, the player takes on the role of an officer of the American Coast Guard, Tom Hansen. The officer is commissioned to investigate an object floating in the Bering Sea. Upon discovering the lack of the ship's crew, Tom becomes suspicious. By exploring every angle of an abandoned whaling boat, the hero faces a whole horde of intelligent and insanely dangerous creatures that have taken control of it. The main mission is to investigate the causes of the presence of mysterious beings, survival. The action of the game takes place during a faithfully reproduced storm on the high seas, which undoubtedly enriches the game with elements of unpredictability. The game is aimed at an adult audience due to the unusual attention to details of the fights and the dark, terrifying atmosphere of the gameplay.
