Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Simulator is a simulation game released in 1987 by Electronic Arts. The game was released for Amstrad CPC, Apple II, C64, Macintosh, MSX, PC (DOS) and ZX Spectrum.
In Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Simulator, as an experimental pilot, you'll have the opportunity to sit behind the stars of 14 planes such as the Bell X-1, Lockheed SR-71, Douglas X-3 Stiletto, Piper PA-28 Cherokee and much more. You will be able to check machines while racing against a computer opponent, or practice formations and stunt flights.

One nasty little thing was that you could change aircraft mid-flight...and your initial momentum would be preserved. So if you changed from a fast plane to one that would fall apart in real life at that speed, down you went!This was only mentioned in one sentence buried in the manual.
