The 18 Wheels of Steel series has been on the market for over 20 years. Over the years, a dozen or so different parts have been released, but the assumption has always been the same - we have a large truck and we have to use it to deliver goods from point A to point B in the shortest possible time. The edition with the subtitle Convoy is the fourth game in the series.

Therefore, we start as a regular full-time driver equipped with a dilapidated truck and our task is to climb the transport ladder until we become the owner of a company with an entire fleet of vehicles and trailers. We have thirty models of trucks at our disposal, which we will travel on the US and Canadian highways. Of course, our eighteen-wheeled monsters cannot ride alone - they have to carry loads. However, there are a lot of them - just like the types of trailers. Therefore, we will transport potatoes and frozen food, as well as whole houses or dangerous toxic substances.

What distinguishes the Convoy edition from other parts of the cycle is the ability to form convoys with the drivers you meet. Thanks to this, our long journeys will be a bit varied. Producers also took care of the most realistic gameplay. Our vehicle therefore has to be refueled regularly, serviced from time to time, our driver has to take a nap sometimes, and the police patrols keep order. Compared to its predecessors, Convoy offers much more elongated routes, so we can actually feel that we are traversing the endless American highways. In a word - 18 Wheels of Steel: Convoy is simply a classic part of the series, with the difference that we have even more goods, even more trucks and even more cities to visit.
