The Curse of Monkey Island is the third installment of the legendary series of adventure games from the Monkey Island series. Once again, we have the opportunity to play the role of Guybrush Threepwood - a young pirate with a harsher language than his own sword, who will have to protect his beloved, Elaine Marley, from trying to turn her into zombies. He will face the spirit of his eternal enemy - the sinister pirate LeChuck.


Unfortunately, the often inept hero - wanting to make Marley his wife - slips a cursed ring on her finger, which makes it turn into a statue. Although she casually protects her against LeChuck's hideous grasp, this is not the preferred method either by her or by Guybrush himself. He must now not only conjure up his true love, but also get rid of the threat that is still real.
