Asterix & Obelix is a game released by Infogrames in 1996, for DOS, Windows, SNES, Game Boy and Game Boy Color, the player can choose to play with both Asterix or Obelix.
Asterix and Obelix is a side-scrolling action game. The mission of the two Gauls is to acquire artifacts from all across Europe ( including Britania, Helvetia, Grecia, Egyptia and Hispania). The game, like the comics, is set around 50 BC. It includes some bonus levels like a rugby match and the Olympic Games in Greece.
The game supports two players at the same time.
